Mail Room Associate
This role supports day-to-day operations in the regional corporate mail room, ensuring efficient handling and processing of all mail-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate the mail meter machine, handheld package scanner, and photocopier / scanner.
- Maintain accurate records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
- Package, weigh, and process outgoing items, including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and Priority mail, to meet service level agreements.
- Research and resolve issues related to unidentifiable mail.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve operational issues.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Forms, MS Planner, Excel, Outlook, and Word.Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.Experience with BPM custom workflow tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Effective organizational and prioritizing skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.Ability to escalate issues as needed.Capability to interact with all levels of an organization.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in administrative support, mailroom operations, data entry, filing, scanning, clerical tasks, sorting, and general administration.Work Environment
This position is an on-site role located in Columbia, MD, in a professional, business-casual setting. The work is fast-paced but organized, focusing on mail handling, shipping, logging, and general office support. The role requires independent work with occasional collaboration with operations and administrative staff. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with the expectation to work through the holiday season, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
