We're looking for a motivated, service-driven Loan Officer II who loves making connections, solving problems, and helping others achieve their dreams of homeownership. What You'll Be Doing :

Connecting with New & Existing Members : Interview applicants, listen to their needs, and guide them through the mortgage process with clarity and care.

Managing the Mortgage Process : Prepare and process loan applications, ensure accuracy, and keep things moving smoothly from start to finish.

Communication Clearly : Keep members in the loop with timely updates and thoughtful explanations

Staying in the Know : Stay up to date on lending policies, regulations, and the latest trends in real estate and mortgage lending.

Offering Solutions : Cross-offer helpful credit union products and services that make life easier for our members.

Growing Our Reach : Build mortgage business through relationships with realtors, contractors, and community connections.

Tracking Goals & Success : Keep a sales log, set goals, and celebrate your progress as part of our driven, goal-oriented lending team.

Mentoring & Leading : Support onboarding and training for Loan Officer I teammates-YOUR experience matters here.

What We're Looking For :

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending; experience with secondary market lending a big plus
  • Associate's degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine love for helping people
  • Knowledge of mortgage programs like FHA, VA, USDA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and portfolio lending
  • Ability to juggle details without dropping the ball
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office and lending software
  • Valid WI driver's license and willingness to engage with the community
