Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, using age-specific criteria and clinical skills. Additionally, the RN assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff, including LPNs / PCTs and Unit Secretaries.
