Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, snowpipes, tasks, streams)
• Proficiency in SQL and PLSQL programming
• Hands-on experience in data warehousing concepts, Star and snowflake schema, Fact and dimension modeling
• Understanding of Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs) and normalization / denormalization strategies
• Good understanding of data modeling principles for OLAP and OLTP systems
• Experience with data ingestion and integration using ETL / ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with data lakes and handling large volumes of structured and semi-structured data
• Strong skills in query performance tuning and optimization
