Security Professional - Manufacturing Access Control
As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role will involve interacting with employees and visitors, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for any unusual activity.Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or breaches of access protocols to the appropriate personnel.Assist with emergency response activities when necessary, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
