About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Cardio Electrophysiologist for a 40-day locum tenens position at a hospital in West Virginia. Starting 05 / 19 / 2025, this role involves working 1-2 weeks per month, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The assignment includes both clinic and procedure responsibilities, with the physician expected to see 15-20 patients per day in clinic and perform 3-4 procedures daily. Key focus areas include EP Cardiology, pacemaker management, atrial fibrillation treatment, defibrillator clinic, and consultations. This position requires an active West Virginia license and proficiency with Epic electronic health records system. There is potential for extension beyond the initial 40-day period.

Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide specialized cardio electrophysiology care in both clinic and procedure settings
- Manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and device therapies
- Perform and interpret electrophysiology studies and procedures
- Conduct pacemaker and defibrillator clinic visits and follow-ups
- Treat patients with atrial fibrillation and other cardiac rhythm disorders
- Perform 3-4 procedures per day, including device implantations and ablations
- See 15-20 patients daily in clinic for consultations and follow-ups
- Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation
- Collaborate with cardiology team and other healthcare professionals
