About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with expertise in Occupational Medicine for a locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, for an 80-day contract and features day shifts, Monday through Friday. The role involves providing family health services to factory employees and their families, seeing patients ages 2 and older. Candidates must be comfortable working independently as the sole provider when necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive family health care for factory employees and their families
  • Provide care to patients ages 2 and older
  • Perform occupational medicine assessments and routine health services
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions within the clinic
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory guidelines
  • Serve as the sole provider in the clinic when the medical assistant is absent
  • Additional Information

  • Minimum 3 years of experience required
  • Must hold an active Texas nurse practitioner license
  • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to work independently and manage a broad patient population
