Type of Facility : Long Term Care.# of Beds / Residents : 26 bed.EMR : Matrix.Ratios : Nurses 1 : 10 on day 1 : 19 nights,Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Heart disease, diabetes, dementia.Job Duties : Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care.Experience or 'Must have' skills : LTC experience.Are there IVs or titratable drips? : NO.Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips? : NONE.Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab? : NO.DON / Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : DON, no supervisors.Physician availability after hours : By phone on-call.Interdisciplinary Team : no rehab beds only LTC.PT / OT / SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians? : PT as needed, Social worker designee.Is RT on-site 24 / 7? : NONE.Oxygen Therapy / Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) : Concentrators and portable concentrators.Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system? : Off site.Shifts & Scheduling : 12hr shifts 7-7, No blocked schedule & no self-scheduling.Weekend Requirements : EOW.Holiday Requirements : Every other major holiday.Call or Standby Requirement : NONE.Floating Requirements : NONE.Scrub Color / Dress Code : NONE , must be clean and presentable.How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 2-3.Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
