Uniti Med is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : 12 hours, nights

Unit - Psych RN : Psychiatric Unit

Shift - 12H Nights EOW, Nights, First to Float

Guaranteed Hours - 36 hours per week

Certifications Required : BLS, CPI (preferred)

PROFILE REVIEW+MANAGER INTERVIEW

# of Beds : 25 licensed beds; Currently utilize 3 Adult Beds and 6 Adolescent Beds - Nurse : Patient Ratios : 3 : 1 Adult currently (could get up to 7 patients); 6 : 1 Adolescent - Patient Populations / Common diagnoses : Adolescents and Adults (travelers could work with peds one shift and adults the next, separated by a door). Most common diagnosis are depression, & anxiety, they also see substance abuse- etoh, other substances, psychosis, bipolar and schizophrenia, other behavioral or personality disorders, rare opioid withdrawal, medically cleared - Experience or 'Must have' skills Acute / inpatient or (state) hospital experience, Good de-escalation and strong communication skills, Ok with first time travelers, Prefer adolescent experience.

Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
