Sales Engineer

Profusion is looking to hire a driven professional as a sales engineer that has excellent experience, designing various parts for manufacturing clients as well as our interior product offerings in the architectural market. We utilize Solid Works to create CNC machine programing to cut DXF files that also will be formed using the latest CNC cutting and forming machinery by our excellent team on our shop floor. We are using Job Boss ERP to estimate product cost form customers RFQ inquiries on a daily basis as well as special request that require creating 3D models for both machining parts and formed sheet metal and plate parts. A good knowledge of metal fabrication and or forming is a plus, but not mandatory as we can train a willing candidate as well as provide the machine tool programming training inhouse. Our opening entails the follow scenarios for a Design / Sales engineer to respond to email request by adding the files to the quoting software and adding the details of material types, drawing and design time, all other labor related cost to provide a quote in a swift manner as we serve customers metal processing needs from simple 2D cut parts, to fully fabricated, polished / painted finished assemblies. We strive for excellent quality and have built our reputation on fast turn around and attention to detail for many industry types and manufacturers alike.
