Location : Boynton Beach, FL

AP Health is a private practice comprised of advanced practice providers. We provide perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers. We partner with facilities to offer service line coverage with highly trained and knowledgeable Advanced Practice Providers to first assist in surgery.

AP Health is seeking an experienced ARNP to join our cardiac surgery team in Florida. A successful candidate would have at least 2+ years of experience in cardiac surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to join a distinguished team that delivers top tier care.

This is NOT a travel, locum, placement, or per diem position. AP Health is not a staffing company.

What will you do :

  • Conduct daily rounds on cardiac surgery patients admitted to the Physiatry floor
  • Monitor and manage post-operative recovery, including vital signs, incision sites, cardiac function, and mobility progress
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, hospitalists, and the physiatry team to optimize patient outcomes and transition plans
  • Adjust medication regimens and order diagnostic testing as clinically indicated
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac rehabilitation and discharge instructions
  • Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols, documentation standards, and quality metrics

What do you need :

  • Current ARNP Florida license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac surgery, cardiology, or inpatient acute care
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in post-operative management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment
