Incumbent must reside in Idaho (Currently CEI doesn’t sponsor H-1B Visas)
Additional Desired Qualifications
Successful completion of a post-secondary welding program
Over 3 years of welding industry experience
American Welding Society CWI / CWE preferred
Teaching experience
Bilingual (Spanish)

Physical Demands :
Essential functions of this position require : manual dexterity, ability to communicate, lifting, kneeling, squatting, climbing, crawling, stooping, turning / twisting, balancing, reaching and handling with varying frequencies. Heavy work : Occasional lifting and carrying objects up to 75 pounds, Frequent lifting and carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds; and / or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 10-20 pounds.
Onsite work is essential and regular predictable attendance is required. Employees may be required to work at occasional events and handle tasks outside of regular working hours.
Background Investigations :
Employment at College of Eastern Idaho will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background investigation and may require a credit and / or motor vehicle background investigation depending on the position. Please refer to Policy 225 : Background Checks
