Join Our Team as a Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician!

Are you a passionate Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician looking to make a meaningful impact? At AdventHealth Orlando , we are seeking a dedicated professional to specialize in outpatient psychiatric care for our bariatric and plastic surgery patients. This is your chance to be part of a collaborative healthcare team, providing essential support and care that transforms lives!

About the Role

In this exciting position, you will :

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Offer pre- and post-operative psychological support and counseling.
  • Work closely with surgeons, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Manage mental health medications and address psychological aspects of weight management and body image.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records while staying updated on the latest treatments and advancements.
  • Perform hospital rounds, consult on Baker Act cases, and track patient progress.

    • Qualifications

    To thrive in this role, you will need :

  • A Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • Psychiatry experience (preferred)

    • Licensure & Certifications

  • Current, valid Florida Medical License
  • Board Certification
  • BLS & ACLS certifications
  • DEA License
