SWCA seeks an experienced

Marketing and Proposal Coordinator

to join our Marketing and Pursuit Resources team to support our Southeast sub-region (Offices include Pensacola, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Raleigh-Durham, and Charlotte). The Marketing and Pursuit Resources team provides our local operations teams with marketing, business development, and pursuit / proposal support. As theSoutheast Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading pursuit development and supporting business development activities to sell our services to our clients across multiple industries. Our ideal candidate will thrive in an environment with tight deadlines and changing needs while ensuring a best-in-class product.

This is a full-time, regular (with benefits), salaried position. This position provides the flexibility of working remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or in-office. However, it is a requirement that the candidate work in the eastern time zone and possesses the ability to travel to offices for occasional on-site collaboration. Preference will be given to qualified candidates in Florida. This position requires occasional overtime, including working evenings and / or weekends as necessary to fulfill position responsibilities.

What you will accomplish

Serve as the "go-to" resource for technical staff for marketing information, guidance, and support.

Participate in strategic planning for pursuits, proposals, marketing, and business development efforts, including :

• leading internal teams through the pursuit / proposal development process - taking an active role in strategy and content development;

facilitating capture planning activities, working collaboratively with technical staff; and,

coordinating business development activities (meetings, research, events / conferences)

Write non-technical content for pursuits / proposals and marketing materials.

Support preparations for interviews and client presentations.

Work with, and mentor, regional marketing specialists, including :

monitoring opportunities (through lead tracking services, client websites, etc.) for distribution to team members, and

managing and maintaining relevant content in SWCA's marketing database, Deltek Vision.

Experience and qualifications for success

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Business, Marketing, or related technical discipline (degrees in other specialties are acceptable if relevance can be demonstrated).

A minimum of five (5) years of experience with the proposal development process.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience handling multiple proposal projects at once.

Excellent attention to detail.

Exceptionalplanning, organizational, proofreading, writing, and formatting skills.

Strong communication proficiency (verbal, written, and presentation).

Abilitytoleadprocesses andwork withmultiple colleagueswho havediverse interpersonal styles.

Ability to work with minimal supervision on multipleprojects withfast-paced deadlines.

Familiarity with the Southeast market, with a strong emphasis on Florida-based clients and pursuits.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working within the A / E / C industry, or environmental consulting.

Prior experience collaboratingwith the Business Development team(s) topre-position and conduct capture planning for must-win efforts.

Participation with associations and / or organizational marketing experience.

Knowledge of local markets, including clientele and competition in environmental consulting.

Experience working in Deltek Vision, SharePoint, or comparable CRM system.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

An employee in this Southeast based position can expect a salary of $66,144 / year - $85,987 / year. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
