Position Summary :

As the Executive Director , you will oversee all daily operations of our community, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, foster community relationships, and uphold compliance with state and federal regulations. This leadership role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead daily operations, acting as the primary contact for staff, residents, families, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.

Manage financial performance, analyze budgets, and implement strategies to maximize operational efficiency.

Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff in accordance with company policies, fostering a positive team environment.

Ensure compliance with all licensing, legal, and safety standards.

Oversee maintenance of the community’s physical environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with corporate goals, focusing on resident care excellence and community growth.

Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and the broader community.

Monitor incident reports, risk management, and safety procedures to promote a secure environment.

Participate in community surveys, maintain policies and procedures, and oversee quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Virginia Assisted Living Facility Administrator License is required.

2-3 years of relevant experience in senior living or healthcare management; or 5+ years with comparable responsibilities.

Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to build rapport with staff, residents, and external partners.

Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assisted living communities.
