You will function as the liaison to NAVY EOD Units and foster the development of others by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
You will lead, define, manage, and integrate efforts of SSP with outside agencies responsible to EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal).
You will assume and assign ownership of processes and products associated with outside EOD Commands, as appropriate.
You will work with senior management to establish new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulate the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques.
You will convert strategic goals into programs or policies and required SWS training provided to EOD.
You will develop, acquire, and maintain EOD Training Aid asset management used for exercises and training.
You will solve broad organizational issues. Implements strategic plans within and across organizational components.
You will ensure a cooperative teamwork environment by working with SSP and EOD Commands.
You will lead / guide workforce in achieving organizational goals supporting EOD.
You will optimize, control, and manage all resources across projects / programs.
You will develop and integrate innovative approaches to attain goals and minimize expenditures.
Requirements
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : serving as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technical / functional authority defining, integrating, and implementing strategic direction for EOD programs involving weapons and / or developing plans and policy to coordinate EOD related emergency response.
