We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee essential financial operations and reporting within our business located near Danville, KY. This role is pivotal in ensuring precise accounting practices, including revenue and expense recognition, inventory management, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.

Responsibilities :

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing variances.
• Generate accurate financial statements and internal management reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies between internal systems and external manufacturing partners.
• Apply revenue recognition principles and allocate costs for online and wholesale sales.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants during audits and tax preparation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting and reporting workflows.
