Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Job Description As a Registered Nurse in the Neuro Medicine unit, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions. You will work in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a medical surgical environment. Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to emergencies. Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs. Implement isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols within the unit. Engage in effective communication with other healthcare professionals and support staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting. Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is preferred.
