Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130 per week Key Job Details – Med / Surg RN (Travel) Location : Yuma, Arizona (zip 85364) – Arizona healthcare jobs Unit : Rapid Decision Unit (Medical Surgical) Job Type : Travel RN (locum tenens) Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours : 36 guaranteed per week Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Weekend / Holiday : 4 weekend shifts per 4 weeks; 2 of 5 holidays (including eves) Unit Size : 15 beds Scrub Color : Navy Blue Charting : EPIC electronic health record system Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Arizona or compact state (Registered Nurse) At least 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Proficient in telemetry monitoring and centralized monitoring systems Comfortable with nurse-patient ratio of 1 : 6-7 during night shifts Willing to float to Med / Surg towers as needed Excellent communication and teamwork skills Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to patients with cardiac rule out, low heart score, surgical, abdominal pain, pneumonia, COPD, radiation, AKI, and occasional surgical cases Collaborate with charge nurses, midlevel providers, and patient care assistants (2 per shift) Monitor and interpret telemetry data for patient safety Accurately document patient care using EPIC charting system Participate in unit orientation and ongoing nursing education Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff Float to other Medical Surgical units as required Apply now for this rewarding travel nursing job in Yuma, Arizona, and join our healthcare team dedicated to quality patient care.
