A privately held real estate investment and management firm is seeking a hands-on Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail shopping centers and commercial properties across Massachusetts and New York. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys being directly involved with maintenance, construction oversight, and day-to-day property operations.

Responsibilities :

Oversee day-to-day operations, maintenance, and construction projects for multiple retail and commercial properties.
Conduct regular property inspections and provide detailed reporting to management.
Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiation, compliance monitoring, and performance reviews.
Supervise contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed.
Assist with annual budgeting, capital planning, and financial reporting.
Support special projects as needed within the regional property management team.

Qualifications :

5+ years of hands-on commercial property management experience, preferably in retail or shopping center environments.

Strong working knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and construction oversight.

Comfortable being on-site daily and traveling between properties regularly.

Proven ability to manage vendors and maintenance personnel effectively.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Willingness to travel frequently between properties.
