This position may be performed remotely, in the United States. Candidates must live in a state where Scooter's Coffee operates coffee shop locations. Scooter's Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. Regular travel to Omaha will be expected for candidates that do not reside in Omaha, NE.
Description
The Franchise Sales Market Planner for Scooter's Coffee is responsible for assisting the Franchise Sales and Development teams in the following areas : market planning, trade area analysis, and site research; demographic analysis, development territory mapping methodology, competitive intelligence, and sales forecasting. The geographic scope of this role is intended to cover all markets Scooter's Coffee sells franchise's in and in direct support of the franchise sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create all proposed development areas within requested region balancing a data driven approach with the needs of the Franchise Sales team.
- Help in strategic improvement of mapping, reporting, and research processes on an ongoing basis
- Generate model driven sales forecasts for all proposed sites and assess sales transfer from existing stores.
- Track and provide insight into current industry trends and competitor activity within regions.
- Collaborate with Franchise Development Marketing in market planning for continued growth.
- Act as a cross-function partner across all areas of Scooters Coffee sales and development.
- Develop and maintain interactive web maps that visualize various data sets relating to our large portfolio of clients
- Create maps and workflows to virtualize demographic, commuting and labor data
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand portfolio challenges and develop GIS based solutions to address them
- Support the integration of GIS data with other business intelligence tools to enhance overall analytics capabilities
- Stay abreast of the latest GIS technologies and real estate market trends to ensure our solution remain cutting edge
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred with a concentration in real estate, business management, geography, math, statistics, urban planning, or related fields1-2 years of relevant work experience in commercial or retail real estate, real estate project management, market planning, real estate analytics, or related fieldsStrong proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically in PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with BI systems, GIS mapping software, and sales forecasting models a plusAbility to distill data into insights presented in a logical manner to inform decisions related to incremental store growth or existing asset management.Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently with precise attention to detail.Nuanced understanding of business principles and critical thinking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized and able to work independently and communicate comfortably with internal departments and external stakeholders and vendors.Ability to problem-solve and think proactively and strategically.Proven capability to work well within a team and in a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment.Job Level Competencies - P2
