The Position

The Labor Relations Manager is responsible for leading the labor relations program strategy and negotiating with multiple unions, ensuring alignment with El Camino's goals and objectives. This position will report directly to the Director of HR Operations and Service Delivery. This leader will primarily manage end-to-end union partnerships, encompassing the strategic development and design of new Labor Relations programs. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in developing and executing labor relations strategies. Extensive experience in high-level negotiations and managing complex labor relations within a healthcare setting is essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead transformative initiatives, are crucial.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Social Services, or a related field is required, along with a master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD). Extensive experience in HR management or labor relations, with at least four years specifically focused on labor relations and contract management, is required.

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $172,000 to $258,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
