Are you a fascia design whiz with a passion for creating vehicles that turn heads? We're seeking a talented and innovative Automotive Fascia Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Auburn Hills. In this role, you'll take ownership of fascia design from concept through production, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and functional performance for next-generation vehicles.

This is a 100% onsite role with opportunities for international travel a few times a year. Candidates must have hands-on CATIA V5 experience (V5 test required during interview).

What You'll Do

• Design and engineer fascia components including substrates, bumpers, grille assemblies, bezels, skid plates, baffles, and ducts
• Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for prototype and production fascia components.
• Collaborate with styling, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with overall vehicle performance and design intent.
• Manage engineering releases, BOMs , and change management in PLM systems.
• Lead cost and weight reduction initiatives , material selection, and tooling feasibility studies.
• Support new program development , risk analysis, and troubleshooting using DOE and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Contribute to the future technology roadmap for exterior systems through innovative design concepts and materials.
• Work closely with suppliers and partners across India, Europe, and the U.S.
