Building Products Inc. (BPI) is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Bidding Process Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of our multi-family door and millwork project bidding operations.
This role is critical to ensuring data accuracy, process consistency, and performance visibility across ConstructConnect and Proton CRM as BPI continues expanding in the multi-family construction market.

What You’ll Do As the central hub for all bid-related information, the Bidding Process Manager will coordinate with Sales, Sales Assistants, and the Millwork Department to maintain timely bid submissions, support territory-specific initiatives, and monitor key performance indicators that drive strategic decisions across the business.
Process Management and Execution Own and continuously improve the multi-family bidding process workflow.
Coordinate weekly ConstructConnect data reviews, updates, and bid timelines.
Ensure bid information is accurate, current, and consistently recorded in Proton CRM.
Monitor and manage shared bid folders and documentation before full CRM integration.
Prioritize projects with upcoming bid deadlines and balance cross-functional workload.
Collaboration and Communication Serve as the central point of contact between Sales, Sales Assistants, and Millwork Ops for all active and upcoming bid opportunities.
Partner with Sales Reps to ensure timely creation and updating of opportunities in Proton.
Collaborate with the Millwork Multi-Family team to notify and support architectural engagement when BPI products are not yet specified.
Support Sales Management in assigning out-of-territory projects to future lumberyard partners.
Data Integrity and Reporting Ensure ConstructConnect data is complete and accurate prior to CRM handoff.
Validate and maintain Proton CRM opportunity data and ensure follow-through on bid submissions.
Monitor document control, versioning, and naming conventions for all project files.
Prepare and review weekly reports on bidding status, deadlines, and progress.
Performance and KPI Management Track and report on key performance indicators such as bid to win ratio, on time bid submission rate, project data accuracy, and partner participation rates.
Analyze performance trends and collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes.
Use KPI data to continuously refine processes, increase bid velocity, and drive market expansion.
Future Readiness and System Integration Lead readiness efforts for ConstructConnect to Proton integration.
Participate in platform testing, implementation, and standardization of data flows.
Adapt reporting and workflows as BPI expands into additional states and new multi-family categories.
Help define the scalable model for bidding operations in new markets.
What We’re Looking For Three or more years of experience in construction sales operations, bidding coordination, or project management.
Strong familiarity with construction CRM or bidding software such as ConstructConnect, Dodge, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
Proficient with Excel, data entry, shared folders, and CRM systems.
Proton preferred.
Highly organized, self-directed, and systems-driven.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience working in or with millwork, door or hardware, or building materials is a plus.
