Security Officer Front Desk Commercial Full-Time

As a Security Officer Front Desk Commercial Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence and exceptional customer service to all guests and tenants. Your role will involve monitoring access points, managing badges, and responding to security-related incidents while utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. Pay Rate : $20.35 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials of visitors, tenants, and staff, and maintain visitor logs as required.
  • Assist with the implementation of emergency response activities based on site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, guests, and employees to address inquiries and / or direct them as appropriate.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related risks to the appropriate authorities and / or Allied Universal management.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and provide reassurance to building occupants.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
