Commodity Merchandisers at The Andersons, Inc. are an integral component to the ag supply chain. Our merchandising team consists of driven, entrepreneurial professionals committed to providing excellent service to our customers. Merchandisers have the responsibility of originating commodities and marketing the goods to drive positive financial outcomes. Individuals in these roles also develop knowledge in local, national, and global markets, risk management, and transportation and logistics, and much more.

To guide the learning and development of college students interested in pursuing a career in commodity merchandising, The Andersons has built a notable summer internship experience. Interns receive a broad and hands-on experience in all aspects of commodity merchandising, including but not limited to :

• Buying and selling of commodities
• Daily analysis of local, national, and global markets
• Transportation and logistics
• Price development
• Supply Chain Management
• Relationship Building with Customers

Our Commodity Merchandising Interns will be located in our Maumee, OH or Overland Park, KS trading offices based on business needs. Housing is provided.
