Role : Oracle EBS SCM Functional Consultant

Location : Carlsbad CA 5 day onsite

Duration : Long Term

Job Summary : Client is looking for a seasoned professional to join as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant with FTZ expertise is responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, with a primary focus on supporting business processes within a Free Trade Zone. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and how to leverage Oracle EBS (especially Supply Chain Management and Global Trade Management) to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance in a bonded or FTZ environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with clients, particularly those with FTZ operations, to understand their specific needs and challenges related to global trade and customs compliance.
• Configure Oracle SCM modules, with a strong emphasis on Global Trade Management (GTM), to meet FTZ requirements, including managing licenses, denied party screening,
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS-related issues, collaborating with technical teams and Oracle Support.
• Work on integrations with third-party applications
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, Planning) to ensure alignment between business needs and Oracle EBS functionalities.
