Logistics Scheduler – Eaton, OH The Opportunity Our client, a national producer of metal building products, has hired us to find a Logistics Scheduler for their Eaton, OH location. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling materials, finished goods, and transportation to ensure efficient production and delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities : Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics operations for timely product delivery Resolve freight issues and ensure all coils and shipments reach destinations Collaborate with Manufacturing, Transportation, Production, and Customer Service on scheduling needs Track, analyze, and report shipment and distribution performance metrics Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve satisfaction Maintain accurate shipping logs, confirmations, receiving records, and performance reports Address and resolve shipping complaints, damages, and customer distribution issues Optimize inventory flows across multiple U.S. sites through data-driven analysis Enforce safety protocol compliance and foster culture of accountability Qualifications : Required : 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, scheduling, or related fields Solid knowledge of logistics procedures and supply chain management principles Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Skilled in capacity planning and scheduling for various work order types Proven negotiation skills and ability to resolve issues effectively Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities Highly organized with strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in logistics software and data-driven reporting Self-driven with strong independent decision-making skills and ability to multitask Preferred : Direct experience in building materials logistics The preceding is just a brief overview – contact us to find out more!
