We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will design, develop, and enhance Insurity’s cloud-based insurance platform. This role combines technical depth with business domain expertise to deliver enterprise-grade, configurable solutions for P&C insurance operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams — product managers, QA, DevOps, and client delivery — to drive high-impact outcomes in underwriting, policy administration, and claims systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software components for Insurity’s core insurance platforms using .NET Core, C#, and Azure services.
- Participate in API development , microservices architecture , and DevOps pipelines (CI / CD).
- Collaborate with business analysts and product teams to translate insurance workflows into scalable software solutions.
- Integrate Insurity products with external systems such as rating engines, billing systems, and third-party data providers.
- Ensure high code quality through unit testing , code reviews , and automated testing frameworks .
- Optimize application performance and scalability within a multi-tenant, SaaS environment .
- Contribute to cloud migration projects and modernization of legacy applications.
The Business Analyst serves as a critical liaison between clients, product management, and the engineering teams. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for insurance systems implementations, ensuring alignment between customer needs and Insurity’s product capabilities.
This role requires a blend of insurance domain knowledge , technical understanding , and strong communication skills to deliver effective end-to-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements for insurance software solutions (Policy Administration, Billing, Claims, or Data).Collaborate with clients to understand P&C insurance processes , including underwriting, rating, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims.Conduct gap analysis between customer requirements and Insurity product functionality.Work with product and development teams to design configurable, scalable solutions .Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria , and manage product backlogs in Agile / Scrum environments.Support system configuration, testing, and user acceptance (UAT) phases.Provide subject matter expertise on insurance workflows, ISO forms, state regulations , and data standards.Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of client implementations.Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property & Casualty insurance domain .Experience working with or implementing Insurity platforms (e.g., Policy Decisions, Sure, Bridge, or Billing Decisions) or similar PAS systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, OneShield).Strong understanding of policy, billing, and claims lifecycles .Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication .Proficient in Agile / Scrum delivery environments and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Insurity configuration tools or SQL-based data validation .Knowledge of insurance rating algorithms , forms management , or regulatory compliance (ISO, NCCI).Familiarity with API integrations and data mapping across enterprise systems.Certification in CBAP , CCBA , or Agile Product Ownership .Why Join Insurity
