HIRING TOOL AND DIE MAKER

Customer Driven Staffing with locations in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kansas, is currently hiring a Tool and Die Maker for the Orlando Area :

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE ALL TOOLS ASSOCIATED TO TOOL AND DIE REPAIR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Build and repair tools for press / machine use.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, interpret, repair and rebuild all styles of dies to include blank, draw, progressive and secondary forming dies.
  • Repair dies.
  • Flat work and surface grinding.
  • Assemble tools.
  • Must perform complex layout work.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Machine operator or production experience strongly preferred
  • Must have thorough working knowledge of shop math
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Manual machining knowledge, to include Bridgeport surface grinding, engine lathe,
  • Willing to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to read English as required for interpreting job cards and prints
  • Some heavy lifting involved.

    • Job Type : Full-time Pay : $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Schedule : Day Shift 8-10 Hours -Monday to Friday

  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

    • Experience :

  • Tools, fixtures, gages, assemblies, fabrication : 5 years (Required)
  • Manual Machining : 5 years (Required)
  • Blueprint reading : 5 years (Required)
  • Build Metal Tool and Dies : 5 years (Required)
  • Build Prog / Draw Die : 5 years (Required)
  • GD&T : 5 years (Preferred)

  • English (Required)
