Location : New York City (4 days in office / 1 day remote)

Compensation $27-30 / hr

Overview :

A fast-growing contemporary fashion brand based in New York is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent grad or intern looking to take the next step! All levels encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities :

Process, code, and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Match payments with invoice documentation and maintain organized AP files.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Review expense reports and corporate credit card charges for accurate GL coding.

Support month-end close and AP-to-GL reconciliations.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Identify and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications :

1 years of experience. Bachelors in Accounting or related field a plus

Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.

Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup); MS Great Plains a plus.

Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset
