Role and Responsibilities

• Must be safety oriented and align with Thorpe safety culture
• Knowledge of properly catalyzed, mix resins
• Knowledge of properly grind / surface prep., layup, rollout
• Knowledge of basic pipe squaring, cutting, fitting, 2-holing of spools
• Knowledge of application of resins in accordance with specifications and procedures
• Knowledge of thermoplastics and dual laminate
• QC all shop fabrication in accordance with specifications, drawings and create QC documents
• Track and keep up to date all calibrated equipment in the shop

Physical Requirements

The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses / spoggles, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and location the work is being done.
