About the Role

This position will be responsible for supporting the team's Account Manager to provide accurate, courteous, and prompt service to customers, insurance companies, and sales reps regarding the assigned accounts. This role offers an opportunity to develop into an Account Manager / Executive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process incoming mail daily, reassigning to the Account Manager if necessary.
  • Process transactions within customer files as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Perform rating calculations and quotations as requested.
  • Follow up on customer file suspense according to agency guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Organized, proactive, with strong time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Commercial Insurance.
  • Adaptable and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a small business environment.

    • Skills & Experience

  • State of Florida 2-20 or 4-40 Insurance License.
  • Knowledge of AMS - Applied Systems (not required but a plus).
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Commercial Lines Insurance.
