Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Completion of an accredited program of nursingAssociate's degree in nursingPreferredBachelor's degree in nursing
Master's degree in nursingExperience :
PreferredTwo (2) or more years of experience in nursing
Emergency DepartmentRegistered Nurse (RN), with Authorization to Practice in the State of Texas
Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationRequired within ninety (90) days of start date
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CertificationRequired within one (1) year of start date
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) CertificationNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationRequired within one (1) year of start dateTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)Required within two (2) years of start datePreferred
