The Watch Department Service Associate is an entry level administrative position that provides support to the Watch Buyers and Service Manager, working closely with them to drive efficiencies within the department and to ultimately enhance the customer experience. With a focus on clerical support, this role is key to ensure the smooth running of the office. Essential Job Functions / Core Responsibilities :
- Learn and facilitate the watch repair lifecycle. This includes creating the repair order, processing the repair in ASC / Crystal and other internal systems, communicating repair details with the stores, tracking the repair progress, quality control and returning the repairs to stores.
- Administer and maintain the repair parts buying cycle, including the replenishment of watchmaker parts while keeping a keen eye on stock levels.
- Coordinate and organize repair batches through partnership with watchmakers.
- Support Longs stores with customer repair issues, including contacting customers directly to address special situations as needed.
- Assist with coordinating task allocation in the service shop for maximum efficiency.
- Place and track watch parts special orders.
- Replenish consumable tools and supplies for watchmakers and watch technicians.
- Assist the team with other special projects as needed.
Required Skills and Experience :
1+ years of general business experience or prior experience working with luxury timepiecesIntermediate Excel and spreadsheet skills, with a level of comfort creating spreadsheets and databases; high attention to detailAgile thinking and problem solver orientationAbility to work across teams and to handle multiple projectsDesire and willingness to roll up your sleeves and jump in when the situation requiresThis is a full-Time position based in our Burlington corporate office, generally working Monday Friday, with occasional weekend days based on the needs of the business.
