About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years preferred

License : Active nursing license required

Certifications : BCLS required, ACLS preferred, ONS biotherapy certification or ONS immunotherapy certification required

Must-Have :

• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience
• Ability to float to other care areas
• EKG examination required
• Epic experience required

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced environment.

Float ability to care for medical / surgical and telemetry patients is required.

Every other weekend commitment is required.

Patient diagnoses include hematology-oncology, oncology, bone marrow transplant, and general medical / surgical conditions.

The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, monitoring patients, and managing peripheral lines.

Candidates must be able to access and manage ports and administer blood products.

The unit offers interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.

All candidates must comply with mandatory vaccination requirements, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.

Travel experience is required, and candidates must be willing to comply with additional compliance measures before starting.
