This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS / SCI level with required polygraph .

Our team has an immediate need for an experienced Data Hunter / Librarian to join our team at a customer-site in Mclean, VA. to support the collection and management of tabular data sets available to the customer.  This includes data discovery, clean up, ingestion, handling updates and cataloging using current metadata standards.

Responsibilities :

• Search for data and supporting documentation that can be utilized in the customer’s various applications.
• Build partnerships across the customer’s organization to determine which datasets should be collected, stored and made available.
• Flush out metadata information to keep catalog system to ensure entries are accurate and up to date
• Perform any needed data clean up, and that datasets are in the correct format for inclusion in customer’s applications.  Often times data will need to be converted into useable forms for further exploitation.
• Monitor storage space allocations to inform customer when available space has reached specific thresholds.
