We are seeking enthusiastic interns to join our respite team and work with multiple families! This part-time internship offers a rewarding experience where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and teens with special needs. This internship can count for 2 or more academic units, requiring 108 worked hours per quarter.
As an approved respite provider for children with special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, we're looking for caregivers available for weekly placements and occasional "On Call" assignments throughout San Diego County.
What We Offer :
- Competitive pay of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for each additional child

What We're Looking For :
An engaging, creative, and child-focused individual eager to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts, and participate in other activities in families' homes2 years of childcare experience—paid or unpaid, like babysitting, volunteering, or caring for familyAny special needs experience is a significant advantage, however, this does not need to be in a professional settingReferences can be from paid or unpaid childcare experiencesSchedule :
