Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients

Maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

Document account actions and communicate issues related to account workflows and payor behavior

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
