Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our opening kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality, with the skills to execute refined small plates that complement our cocktail program. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain mise en place, ensuring readiness and efficiency during service
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Assist with inventory management, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive team environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or similar role in a restaurant, bar, or hotelStrong technical cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operationsAbility to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standardsFlexible availability, including evenings and weekendsPassion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable guest experiences through foodNY Food Handler's CertificationCompensation
