Job Description Summary
Plans and schedules the finished goods deployment from the producing locations through the supply network to the forecasted sales locations. Engages in the planning and preparation of product movement requests between warehouses to support customer order requirements. Coordinates transfer activities across multiple transportation modes in collaboration with production scheduling teams to facilitate cost reduction and service attainment. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leverages technology to drive efficiencies.
Job Description
Aid in the communication flow of impacts to service levels and disseminate information.
Monitor supply / demand balance on a daily basis.
Develop and communicate solutions to supply issues.
Develop / maintain weekly forum with upstream and downstream supply chain counterparts.
Execute on strategic distribution changes, including realignment activity.
Aid in identifying forecast issues.
Assist in continuous improvement of deployment process.
Achieve / maintain super-user status for deployment software application.
Assist in the documentation efforts for all new / existing processes.
Assist in inventory redistribution and warehouse capacity solutions.
Performs thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Two years related experience in supply chain required, experience in planning or other CSP&L related experience highly preferred.
Experience in production / inventory / demand planning environment.
Excellent cross-functional problem solving skills.
Strong background in data analytics.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Excel, Access, and Word.
SAP experience preferred.
