Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist FT and PT positions available- Dauphin County

The BC / MT will gather information on the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences in written format to identify treatment goals, determine the type of behavioral intervention needed, and design behavior modification plans that are strength-based and non-aversive and respect the social-cultural background of the client and family.

The Challenge , in a nutshell :

• Develop treatment plan involving integration from various sources with regular data-driven updates
• Direct child or adolescent's treatment program including consultation / intervention utilizing behavioral management techniques; regular meetings and consultation with child / adolescent and family and other treatment team members
• Track client progress through organization, review, and charting of data collected by treatment team members about frequency, intensity, and duration of targeted behaviors and positive replacement behaviors
• Determine clinical need for special evaluation and services such as medication assessment by a psychiatrist, psychological testing, or other services
• Collaborate with child and family and other involved professionals to develop daily routines during times of crisis and transition and a 24-hour crisis plan
