Job Summary

An Electrician II is responsible for supporting the maintenance department. Reviewing and closing out work orders.

Essential Duties

• Work safely and efficiently and wear the required PPE / Arc Flash safety items for each particular job, must follow all plant safety procedures for electrical work.
• Must be able to demonstrate good follow-up procedures and demonstrate the ability to perform critical checks in an appropriate manner.
• Capable of learning the responsibilities for day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all plant equipment.
• Capable of learning to analyze and recommend repair procedures for equipment failures and demonstrating mechanical insight in recommending options.
• Help with breakdowns on both lines.
• Train to help production Start-up and shut-down equipment.
• Capable of learning to Identify and locate electrical parts.
• Complete work orders as assigned by Supervisor.
• Capable of requisitioning electrical machine parts pulled from the maintenance storerooms.
• Assist supervisor on following up or expediting vender parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned
