Job Description
Redlands Community College is seeking motivated, creative candidates to apply for the Coordinator of Digital Media and Marketing. This is a full-time, 12-month, support staff position with excellent benefits. The position reports to the Executive Director of External Affairs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Manage, create, generate and evaluate content for the college's social media presence on a variety of social media sites.
Manage and evaluate digital advertising content and campaigns.
Coordinate the production of marketing materials, including photography and video.
Produce, manage and promote episodes of the college podcast.
Assist with the development and implementation of student recruitment initiatives and activities.
Cover campus events, meetings, and other functions as needed for social media and web content.
Stay abreast of social media and graphic design trends.
Maintain files and compile reports for supervisor as requested.
Support the Redlands Community College Foundation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
Demonstrated experience in communications, including but not limited to social media, graphic design, photography, video, web, writing, editing and content creation.
Proficient in grammar, spelling and AP Style.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience in proofreading and copy editing.
Skilled in creating content for social media and managing organizational social media accounts.
Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
Two years' experience in communications, marketing, or public relations preferred.
