Position
Maintenance Engineer or similarly titled role at NorthWestern Energy (full-time)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate emerging technologies and establish tools for central maintenance programs.
- Collect data, analyze and provide recommendations based on department needs.
- Create, issue and evaluate Request for Proposals for contract resources to perform maintenance activities.
- Initiate and review contracts and ensure NorthWestern Energy project interests and specifications are represented prior to contract execution.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures based on company requirements.
- Develop schedule, cost, and scope controls to monitor contractor performance against annual goals.
- Lead special projects and utilize change and project management techniques as required.
- Assist in developing and managing capital expense budgets.
- Travel to job sites, off-site meetings, and up to 25% travel per year including overnight stays when necessary.

Qualifications
Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record.Must have a B.S. in Engineering; experienced and upcoming December 2025 graduates encouraged to apply.Excellent computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Good working knowledge of utility operation maintenance activities.First aid / CPR certification preferred.Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.Compensation and Benefits
$72,000 to $112,700 per year, depending on experience.
