Bookkeeper - Agriculture Company

$27-30 per hour | Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a well-established agriculture company in Kern County. This role is key to ensuring accurate financial records and smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities :

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

Perform bank and account reconciliations

Maintain general ledger entries and journal postings

Assist with payroll preparation and reporting

Generate financial reports as needed

Support month-end and year-end close activities

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate accounting data

Qualifications :

3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Agriculture industry experience is a plus

Compensation : $27-30 per hour, DOE
