Job Description

Operates heat treating equipment to process parts per customer specifications and production standards, ensuring safe and efficient operations while maintaining product quality.Position Type

  • Position Type : Hourly, Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
  • Shifts : ◦ Shift 1 : 7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm
  • Pay Range : $17 - $20 / hour (depending on skills and experience)
  • Work Location : Onsite - Saegertown, Pennsylvania, 16433Job Details
  • Operate heat-treating equipment including furnaces, ovens, and quenching systems.
  • Load and unload materials or parts into designated fixtures or trays for heat treating processes.
  • Oversee and adjust heat treating settings, including temperature, cycle times, and atmosphere, to meet required specifications.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards, including hardness, tempering, and other metallurgical properties.
  • Read and interpret, blueprints, work instructions and technical specifications.
  • Perform basic maintenance and calibration on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Continually look to improve processes and procedures.
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.Skills / Competencies
  • Basic mechanical skills and an understanding of heat treatment processes and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret, blueprints, work instructions and technical specifications.
  • Attention to detail

  • Product specificationRequired Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in heat treatment operations or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Address routine issues and escalate more complex problems to senior staff for resolution
  • Able to perform tasks with direct supervision or clear instructions.Preferred Qualifications
  • Powered Industrial Equipment Certification.Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push / pull objects up-to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
