Position Summary
Directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operation with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires
- Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products
- Leads daily operations and executes strategic plans within the distribution area to foster a culture of excellence and drive innovation across the enterprise
- Manages the operations in the distribution center to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded
- Conducts performance reviews using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations
- Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices
- Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics
- Establishes task parameters and redefines assignment priorities to ensure operational success
- Manages performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development

Required Qualifications
Weekend work required, 4 day work week, Saturday / Sunday 7pm to 7am, 2 days during Monday- Friday.Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center environmentWarehouse Management Systems experienceMS Office experienceAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employeesAbility to analyze information effectively and consistently.Ability to complete assignments within established timelines.Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is : $43,888.00 - $93,574.00
