Transflo Operator

Overview :

The primary duties of an employee shall be to safely operate and maintain all related transflo handling equipment. This shall include specifically, transloading bulk commodities between railcar and truck.

Description :

  • Clear communication with the railroad, customers, and management.
  • All Aspects of unloading cars, venting hatches, operating pumps, turning valves, connecting hoses, and inspecting cargo.
  • Operating jockey truck and any other material handling equipment.
  • Follow all operational and safety protocols.

Requirements :

  • High School diploma
  • Ability to qualify for TWIC card
  • Pass pre-employment screening to include a background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Computer literacy, MS Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude
