Manufacturing Production Fabrication Supervisor Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Production Fabrication Supervisor to oversee sheet metal fabrication operations within our production facility. This role is responsible for managing daily workflows, ensuring quality standards, enforcing safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement across fabrication processes. Develop work schedules to meet shipping plans. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities, including sheet metal, CNC laser / punch operation, forming deburring and welding. Plan and assign daily / weekly / monthly production tasks to meet output goals. Monitor production and conduct regular quality and production checks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with procurement, finishing and assembly teams to optimize operations. Train, mentor, and evaluate fabrication staff; resolve employee issues in accordance with union contracts and company policies. Maintain accurate production records and reports status daily. Interpret technical drawings and documentation to guide fabrication processes. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or methodologies. Schedule equipment maintenance and request repairs as needed. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of metalworking machinery, safety standards (OSHA), and production processes. Certifications such as CWI are a plus. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical renderings. Experience managing teams of 20+ hourly employees. Proven track record of implementing cost-saving and efficiency-improving strategies.
